Promotional video comparison

Here is the promotional video for the diploma, promoting the diploma and work related learning. It features hip hop star Kano, which was bound to attract some publicity.

Below are some pictures of the promotional video which I found promoted the students and the diplomas well.

Here is the first shot I thought promoted the video well, as it showed Kano on the video camera and some of the work related learning students filming it. This clearly promoted both Kano and the students.

Here is the second interesting shot, which is a pan out from the one above, showing both the students and Kano in the background. It promotes both the students and Kano so therefore promotes both of these.

Here is the third interesting shot I thought which helps promote the diplomas. Kano begins to walk through the crowd of Diploma students, and it has a bit of text showing the persons name and the diploma they do - I thought this promoted the video really well.

Here is a specific example of our Creative and Media Diploma, again with Kano alongside them showing the partnership between them.

Overall, I think this is a good promotional video, despite the length of the video and audience as the majority of people do not really know who Kano is. Perhaps a better known artist would've been better, one that everyone can associate with.
